1.Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to find information, book appointments and buy from our website, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and to make reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010 both online and at the clinic.
2.What we have done
- Pages use clear headings, landmarks and a “skip to content” link, so they work well with screen readers.
- Everything can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Forms have visible labels, explain what is required, and show clear error messages with a summary at the top.
- The booking calendar can be used with arrow keys and announces whether each day is available.
- Text and interactive elements are designed to meet colour-contrast requirements, and text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
- Pages adapt to small screens and portrait or landscape orientation.
- Animations are reduced or switched off if you have asked your device to reduce motion.
- Meaningful images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
3.Known limitations
We know some parts of the website may not be fully accessible yet:
- The Google Map on our contact page is provided by Google and may be difficult to use with assistive technology. Our address and directions are also given as text.
- Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA) and card payments (Stripe) are provided by third parties whose accessibility we do not control.
- Some older articles and images may lack full text alternatives, and some documents may not be fully accessible.
- Date pickers look and behave differently between browsers; you can type dates directly.
We are working to fix these issues. If any of them affects you, please contact us and we will help another way.
4.Alternative formats and other ways to book
If you need information from this website in a different format — such as large print, easy read or an audio recording — or would prefer to book, order or complete forms another way, please contact us:

8.Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 15 September 2026, based on a self-assessment carried out while the website was being rebuilt against WCAG 2.2 AA. We will test key journeys — booking, contact forms and checkout — with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation before launch[to confirm], and review this statement at least once a year.
